Default What to do after you've been cheated on

So you've been cheated on, dumped him, and now want to move on. This is probably a very emotional time for you filled with self doubt, anger, and a hole inside that the jerk left when he left. Don't worry you'll get over it. It's hard to believe but it is very true. Here are some tips to help get your life together:

1) Have a good cry. How does that make things better you might ask? Well, crying helps you to get rid of those pent up feelings of hurt and frustration that you are most likely feeling. If you let those feelings build up, then they will ruin your future relationships. Give yourself time to heal because of what happened.

2) Avoid contact with the cheating man and his friends. Avoid seeing his face or hearing his voice. Do what you have to do because seeing someone just draws up old feelings if the wounds he left you because of his cheating are still fresh.

3) Avoid getting into a rebound relationship if you are still hurting from being cheated on. The rebound relationship will just leave someone else hurting when you dump them (would you want someone to do that to you?). That being said, if you are certain you are emotionally stable enough for another relationship then go out and find one. This leads to tip number 4.

4) When looking for another relationship don't try too hard or get your hopes up too high. If you try too hard, then a man will be able to practically smell your desperation from a mile away. If you get your hopes up too high, then you will be disappointed after you enter into a new relationship. Just relax and be yourself! It's good enough!

5) Hit the gym. Not only is this place loaded with men who like to take care of their bodies, but you can create yourself a killer body while working out whatever anger you may be feeling. Exercise also releases endorphins (aka feel good hormones) which help to relieve stress.
